Charming World Map Pillow
Created by Sandy from CalamariSky, this pillow cover features the print of her original digital artwork. We spotted this little gem a while ago and you guys loved it.
Originally from Switzerland, Sandy has been traveling the world for the last 15 years, working her way around the globe. She has lived in the Maldives, Cook Islands, Thailand, Belize, Egypt, and Malta, among many other places. She’s a self-taught photographer and artist with a passion for creating beautiful images.
Sandy uses her original photography from her own travels to create unique, one-of-a-kind products that inspire wanderlust and travel envy. She’s giving three lucky winners this world map pillow cover.
Travel Inspired Art Prints
Our very own travelette, Bri, who has been helping behind the scenes lately, also has an Etsy shop, Etepetete Design Co., where she runs her passion project – a small paper goods business. She loves good design and sweet stationery, and has been happily running her small design studio from her home office in Berlin since early 2015.
Having travelled to 5 of the 7 continents, Bri was quick to jump on board for a travel-themed giveaway. She’s offering two of her modern art prints and a special limited edition “Travelette for Life.” A must-have for any travel lover and an amazing gift for that really great friend.

I absolutely love anything map-related as decor! Old maps, new maps, city maps, world maps. All the maps! :D Oh and I'm a big fan of travel related quotes too!
Good morning! I can't believe I'm the first one to leave a comment :) My favorite travel-inspired home accessory is a world globe. I like to spin it and randomly point at a place and dream about travelling there.
My favorite travel inspired accessory is definitely my world map! But secretly, I'm dreaming about getting a giant world map in wood with white paint... * Dreamy face *
My old school map from iceland.
My favorite travel-inspired home accessory is the huge world map in my corridor. I use little stickers to mark the places I've been to and it always makes me smile if I take a minute out of my day to just stand there, look at it and think back to the memories I made :)
(This often happens while I brush my teeth, so I wander from the bathroom, toothbrush in my mouth and stand there like dork... sounds much less glamourous already, does it ;)?)
The Old Darjeeling Tea Box from India! :-)
OMG Love, Love, Love it!!!
OMG! I love this map pillow :D I'd be very happy if I could get one, because I love everything, which has a map on it :P
I really like world map watches - it's like every time you decide to check what's the time, it says - it's time to hit the road! But I would be reaaaally happy if I win one of these amazing pillow covers!
Okay...here's the weirdo!! I bring stones from every place I visit...I have so many now, but I can still remember where I picked them up ;-) they bring back the good memories I made whilst on the road!
Too bad I couldn't bring back stones from Hawaii ( bad luck if you grab a lava stone ;-). ) so I brought some amazing tikki sculptures, handmade from old men at each island I visited.
Oh gosh, wanderlust is inda house again ;-)
My favorite travel-inspired home accessory is a vintage suitcase! It is located in my bedroom in order to remind me never stop dreaming and exploring! Thank you so much for the inspiring blog and gifts! Vasiliki from sun-kissed Greece!
What a beautiful pillow! On my couch it will inspire me to dream of all the far away places I haven't been yet, which are still to explore in future! Love it! <3
I love my NYC skyline shower curtain :-)
My favorite home accessory is city posters and maps I frame them and hang them in my bedroom and living room
Old and broken compass. Helps to imagine traveling in the middle ages and reminds what a joyful and easy traveling is now :)
I always buy a painting from the countries I visit, sadly not enough space to have them all up at the same time!
These are beautiful.
My fav accesoire is my light up globe :-)
My favourite travel inspired home accessory is actually these prints, been looking for them everywhere. I love the paint brush detail in them.
I absolutely love maps as decoration. It reminds me of all the places I want to go and where I've been. I plan to get a tattoo on my foot with a map to express my love for wanderlust.
Waow I'm such a big fan of map prints! My favourite travel-inspired accessory is my travel scratch map, which actually stands at work, not at home. It keeps me motivated and gives me inspiration to chose the next destinations where I'll spend my savings, niark! Cheers! A.
The pillow is my fav ;) ;) thanks for this webpage, always with good and new ideas to add to my infinite bucket list!!! besos from Basque Country!
My favorite travel inspired acessorie its my world map :) but I want to get a new one in cork to pin the places I have been :D
That is awesome! I love anything map related, but a big world map would be THE piece. And one to put the pins of where I've been. Hehe But I always try to bring something from my travels, even if all I can manage is a postcard (or 2, or 3,...). Actually, I love postcards too, especially if they're made by (local) artists. :) These pillows look so cool! :D
Wow I love these! I cant wait till we move in our new house in the new year, travel will be a theme I am sure.

I love the brochures with pics, maps, event calendars and site to see - they keep me going!
I love the world map pillow. My love is on the other side of the world so with this pillow I wouldn't be so far from him, like the 2 continents will be in the same room, same bed.
I love these! I would so much like to give this as a birthday present to my best friend! cheers Eva
I love the pillow as it would represent for me bedtime inspiration. You can review where you have been, plan next trip and start dreaming about it when u go to sleep. The world is huge and you get to realize that when u go to bed or when u wake up...inspirational wanderlust.
I love to bring back things for my flat from my travels - candle holder from the salt flats of Bolivia, art print postcards from Wales, ceramic bowls from Turkey... My flat (and my life) are travel themed, so both the pillow and the art prints would fit right in :-)
This cushion is awesome! My favorite thing is a big serving spoon in wood shaped as a paddle I have bought in New Caledonia few years ago. I barely use it for serving but it sits in the entrance and I feel like traveling everytime my eyes are noticing it :)
I bought a small Buddha figure in Bangkok back in 2010 when we were stuck for an extra week of our 3-month backpacking tour because of the Icelandic volcano ash cloud that closed down all European airports.
It is right next to my bed, and it always make me smile and think of my first serious trip of backpacking :-)
I love the pillows and I think they'd actually be an awesome gift for my other travel-bug friends! A little inspiration to dream of travels and adventures you're going to take in the future!
I've got a world map that hangs by my bed, and I map pins to mark where I've been for for fun, for work, for soccer games, and the few places I've lived. As I get older, I definitely think more and more about getting a nice map, versus one on foam board that I made in college...
I love the world map pillow like I absolutely love maps as decoration. It reminds me of all the places I want to go and where I've been.
My boyfriend and I collect tea cups from every country or city we go to - it's lovely to sit at home on the sofa, relax and be reminded of your last trip :) And it's a great inspiration as well to plan your next one!
I love buying flags from places where I lived and I would also like a huge world map on my wall where I can point the places I have already visited.
Awesome pillow One of the best gift for un rêveur et un voyageur ....comme moi
It seems so cool! I want it! :)
I LOVE my world map where I pin alle the places I've visited and the places I still want to see.
I also like hanging framed pictures from my travels and little souvenirs lika a little buddah figure or a small koala from Australia.
Love these, if I won the biggest problem would be to decide which travel mad daughter to give them to as a present....or if I should just keep them myself
What another great give away. I really love the cushion cause I reckon ever wanderluster loves maps, globes ect... Is Bri from Bristol by any chance as I saw someone selling similar prints to hers last Saturday:)
I'm a big fan of framing vintage maps and postcards!
It's too hard to choose what my favorite travel inspired home decor is! I love collecting knick knacks and rocks/sand from various places. I also frame some of my favorite travel photos. My latest acquisition is a large wall mural world map to pin all the places I've been and want to go!
Map cushion is awesome!
Hello All,
My favorite home accessories could be my postcards from the places I've been to, sitting on my wall. I also like that big world map on the other wall. It is not especially a home accessory, rather a personal one, but I love my passport holder that has the world map printed on the outside :)
Keep calm and go travel! :)
this pillow cover is great!
I love my photo/postcard wall. I buy always postcards that look like normal pictures. often they don't even have the name of the country or city written on the card. Then I write how I feel about the city/country at that moment and send them to my house. A few weeks after I come back from my trip, my postcard arrives at home. It's always nice to think again about the trip. And the postcard goes on the wall. In this way I have a nice souvenir that I don't have to carry home :) the only other souvenir that I buy are clothes.
Yes! that would be my favorite and the one travel souvenir I cherish most is the reprint of an old italian photograph of a mother and her kids - bought it when I was just 14 and still love it just as much
My favorite travel inspired accessory is my antique globe. Love that thing! #cartophile
I'd love to add these cushion to my travel accessories, one of my favourites is the jewellery I got as a gift from my Chinese students when I was teaching them over the summer months. They were so kind and friendly and forever hold a place in my heart <3
