I have just had my first ever solo trip in October and it was around a few cities in north Italy. That's why after Bologna, Verona, Siena and Florence my next dream trip is about to take place in Rome and Naples in April! So if I am amazingly lucky to win this award, it would be a terrific opportunity and would fit perfectly into my initial plan!
Italy is in my heart and each person I meet keeps telling me that Rome is a city one could explore for weeks and never truly see it all! Give me the chance to start with two nights in this awesome hotel! I just love ancient architecture and where could I find more stellar examples of it than in the Eternal city! Also, Italian food makes the country one of the premium places to be if one enjoys gastronomy! I would love to live in Italy one day and learn Italian!
Looks so amazing! Eek!

A Little Bit Adrift
OMG, this is just like the dream getaway for me and my husband!!! Some romantic time nella citta eterna just for the two of us...without the kids ;)...for the first time in 8 years!!! YES PLEEEAAAAASSSE!! :D We looooove our kids dearly and usually take them with us anywhere we go, but this would just be the perfect excuse for an escaaaaaaape!!! :)
I would love love to go to Rome! I have been dreaming of visiting this city for years and it's definitely on my bucket list for 2016! It would be beyond incredible to win these nights in this gorgeously designed hotel and explore the city! I even speak a bit of Italian and I would get to use it for the first time in Italy:) My mom will be in Europe around this time too, so it would be the perfect chance to fly over and visit with her in one of the cities I have been so excited to visit for so long — Rome!
I want to see la grande belleza of la città eterna
I would love to go to rome just because it is the eternal city and I had latin for nine years in school and all the stories we had to translate took place in Rome.
Rome is definitely on my bucket list! I have been to Italy so many times and I am absolutely in love with its language, cuisine and landscapes. Unfortunately, I have never made it to Rome and this year I plan to change it :) It would be perfect to be able to sit down in the sun sipping cafe lungo, chat with some noisy, handsome and perfectly dressed Italians, shop in those elegant boutiques and take endless walks around its picturesque streets. Plus, spending some time in this amazing hotel would be a cherry on top :)
I studied italian's architecture in the university and it's always been a dream of mine to go and see it myself. This could be a great opportunity to finally go and also try their pasta and gelato. The hotel looks beautiful, i love the interior design.
I want to go to Rome because of the food, the culture, trevi fountain, the coliseum, gelato, art, the wine... and that hotel looks just gorgeous
I love the idea of going to Rome and staying at this amazingly beautiful design hotel that represents a good example of the country's high aesthetics in architecture and style! My mother owes a hotel and as I person, I strongly believe that the place where you stay is as important for the travelling experience as the city itself.
Rome is definitely in my 2016 bucket list as it will always be the mother of beauty, gastronomy and culture! I would be very excited to walk through its nice paths and visit all of its amazing museums and monuments and learn everything about the country's rich history! I also already have the idea in my head of enjoying a gelato in Fontana di Trevi!
If I win, I will make it a surprise present for my boyfriend that I recently fell in love with :)
Rome is always a good idea! The culture, the food, the people, the atmosphere, the language are simply amazing! :)
I´ve never been to rome yet. a dream would come true ! <3
I'm Italian so naturally, Italy is on my short list of places I MUST visit. What a wonderful opportunity!
Rome is on my 2016 bucket list because I finally want to try all the food there already! Is the pasta really that good? How many gelatos can I eat in one day? And I miiiight also do some shopping... those Italians are fashionable as hell ;)
I dream about Rome and I dream even more of loving in Rome. Me and boyfriend are going to celebrate our first year together in 2016. I´m a very independent girl who dreams all day and night about travels and I never ever thought that I would find someone who would mean so much to me as my boyfriend does. Every time I can I try to take him to beautiful places and my mind is always so full of ideas to surprise him, to make him happy…. Well, my secret strategy with all this romantic getaways is to implement on him the travel bug that I already have (ahah)
I am hopeless wanderer and since I met him I don´t want to wonder alone anymore. I want us to wander together. He also works very hard and I study away from him so this would be a perfect moment to switch off of everything that usually surrounds our busy life and just have a lovely time for ourselves, to dedicate to each other, to love, to celebrate life together. I´m sure that a moment in such a beautiful place would be craved in our minds till we get old. This, definitely, would be a perfect gift to celebrate our 1st year together. So, dear Travelettes, I´m one of you, every time I can I run to see your lovely blog, would you help me turn me dreams a reality?
I would love to go to Rome! I am an art major and would love to see all the art there.
I would love to go to Rome again! I was only there for a day the last time when I was in Italy and feel like I got to see some of the highlights but missed out on a log of the more simple pleasures! Also, one word - gelato.
Italy is definitely one of the top places on my bucket list. I love learning all about the different regions of the country and it would be amazing to visit Rome to start a trip to Italy. I have taken multiple Italian cooking classes and I would love be able to take a cooking class there. Winning this trip and going on a culinary adventure in Italy certainly would be the trip of a lifetime!
Rome...words cannot describe the food, culture and excitement of the city. I would love to win!
I have been in Rome once in 2011 few days and it was one of my first time in Italy. The city left amazing memories on my mind. Now I learn to speak italian (not perfectly yet) and I met in England my italian boyfriend 2 years ago, we don't live in his country, but what a great opportunity to visit together this amazing city and discover more about his country.
What a pitty, that I missed this.
I love Rome and we have been there so often. Okay, G-Rough is a bit too expensive for me, but ... do you have another tip for a cool but affordable Hotel? Maybe in Trastevere or nearby? Thank you!
