What is the closest you’ve ever come to being in a James Bond Movie? For me that would have to be working slot machines in Vegas (Casino Royale anyone?) or maybe zipping Martinis in London. At best. Today, however, I discovered something that I think James would really enjoy – Jumeirah Inside, a unique digital platform, realized in collaboration with no other than Google itself. Here, users from around the world can get a 360° experience of what it’s like to hang out at the stunning Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, certainly one of Dubai’s most famous hotels and one of its most recognizable buildings.
So what does this fancy new way of checking up on a hotel look like in practise? Just like you’ve probably seen on Google Streetview before, the new platform allows users to get a 360° experience, using your curser to examine every corner of whatever area you are checking out. Get a feel for what it’s like to enter the Burj Al Arab? Have a peak inside the luxurious spa? Or even get a glimpse of what it would be like to say hi to your personal pilot waiting by the helipad, overlooking Dubai in full glory?Â
My personal favorite howveer was the look around the restaurant, because MY GAWD, where else do you get to dine next to a huge fishtank like this one?
It is no secret that Dubai provides some of the most outstanding luxury experiences in the world – at a surprisingly affordable rate! If it’s pampering you’re after, you sure have come to the right place. But hey, if anything is holding you back from booking your own Jumeirah experience right this moment, this awesome online tool just might be the next best thing.
