HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here’s a little photo of what I witnessed last night – a world record breaking firework display in Dubai – it was incredible! I’ll share more photos and my experience with you soon. How did you celebrate?

So, 2014 is here and not only does this mark a new and exciting year, but it also brings us to the end of our second #dailytravelette Instagram challenge. How was it for you?

For me, well, I have to be honest. Due to a busy month of travel I fell off the wagon a few times this month so I don’t have a full set of 31 photos, but I kept checking the hashtag almost every day which definitely helped me feel nice and festive. So, thank you!
