#DailyTravelette Instagram Challenge – Recap #2

Summertime Blues couldn’t have been more of a fitting theme for day 30 of our #DailyTravelette Instagram challenge, as we all sure felt a bit blue to finish up our summer 2014 challenge! This month has passed by in a blur of amazing images snapped around the world, inspirational scenes of adventure, evocative scenes from your everyday lives and creative shots of the daily themes. We have loved every single one of you who put in the effort to snap something delightful for #Dailytravelette, and we have been stunned by the quality of all you Instagram enthusiasts!

Jungle covered mountains, sweet sleeping babies on shoulders, dawn breaking over trees, delicious raw foods and waterfalls galore has flooded our feed, and to be honest, we wouldn’t want anything less! If you haven’t seen all the contributions, just have a look through the #dailytravelette in Instagram and be filled with inspiration… I’m sure you’ll soon be searching for some last minute flights to cram in some extra fun into your summer!

But all good things must come to an end and as August dawns worldwide, we must bid this summer’s #dailytravelette farewell, but of course we can’t end it without a round-up of our top images from the past two weeks. Sophie Saint was one of the original travelettes, from 2009 – 2017. After fleeing the UK with ink barely dry on her graduation certificate, she traversed the world with a backpack and spent a few years living in Melbourne – one of her favourite cities in the world.
