Today I’d like to help spread the word about a great opportunity for young photographers. Unfortunately only those from Latvia, Iceland, Portugal and Turkey.
12 photographers aged 18 to 35 are being given the opportunity to take part in a unique project called “Visual Narratives: European Borderlines” with the aim of linking the project countries through a visual documentary, each photographer working in his own and one other project country. The project is an initiative of European Borderlines in conjunction with the International Summer School of Photography.
There will be 2 workshops, given by photographers Vanessa Winship and George Georgiou who are also the ones deciding who is among the final 12.
Flights and workshops are funded with an extra €1200 to finance your shooting for your documentary.
If you’re interested in applying, send your info here before May 20th.
Please share this info with friends you may have in Latvia, Turkey, Iceland or Portugal to let people know about this lovely opportunity.
Good luck!
Katja
