She’s the girl who spends her days wondering if she will ever make it home.
The girl who romanticises the idea of falling in love all over the world. Not just with people, but with places that take her breath away and cause a fire to burn inside her like nothing else. She’s the girl with a twinkle in her eye and the passion in her heart to push herself beyond normal boundaries.
She’s the girl whose life seems exciting and mysterious. The girl whose greatest fear is the mundane and she knows this because she’s been there. She’s the girl who has no regrets over failed relationships or wasted time. She learns from her mistakes. She’s made plenty of them.
She’s the girl who flits from one place to the next happily bundled up in a little world that nobody else fully understands, and she’s content with that. She’s the girl with no plan but a faith in the universe that the right thing will happen at the right time. She’s the girl that learned to let life take its own course.
She’s the girl who taught herself to be independent. That lived in surreal cities, with surreal people. She’s the girl who attempts to learn new languages and accustoms herself to unusual ways of life. She can find her way with just a map and her mind.
She’s the girl who can pay her own way. Who built a solid career and moulded it into what she needed. She knows how to manage her money, and how to convert it into the currency she’s using.
She’s the girl that maybe you don’t understand. The girl you judge for her fluid opinions and irresponsible life style.
The girl that never sticks around never planned this life. She fell into it. And she revels in its unpredictability and spontaneity.
The girl that never sticks around will always miss home. She’s the girl that turns down wedding invitations and misses’ family celebrations. She tries to keep in touch despite oceans and time differences.
She’s the girl that loves everyone she meets and appreciates what they bring to that chapter of her life. She’s used to change, new encounters, making new friends.
She’s grown to be good at saying goodbye. She knows it doesn’t get easier, but she’s learned that goodbyes don’t have to be forever.
She’s the girl that knows life is short and can’t control her desire and curiosity. She’s the girl with the imperfect stories and erratic mind.
The girl that doesn’t stick around will surprise you, and no doubt scare you.
She doesn’t stick around because she doesn’t want to. She’s the girl who is listening to her heart and it’s taking her somewhere else.
She’s the girl who dares to dream that maybe someday someone will stick around with her.

I totally emphathise with this. I told my friend I was home the other day, and her instant reaction was 'I don't have high hopes!' But I also think it makes your friendship so much more solid.
