Travel Packing List: Boys vs. Girls
This year, my (male) flatmate traveled through India for a few weeks. And to prepare for the trip, even this most chaotic human being on the planet spontanious contemporary made a packing list. I happened to find it in our kitchen yersterday and couldn’t help but compare it with the list I had made before travelling to Australia.

Haha, this is hilarious !
Thanks for the list, too, it’s really helpful. Can I just ask how long you were in Australia ?
Hi Joanna,
What can I say?… Boys!!!
I travelled around Australia for 10 months in 2008.
Hey,
Thanks for answering so quickly. I am really impressed with the number of clothes you took for 10 months ! It doesn’t seem like much but I guess that’s how you get a light bag.
Hope your trip was awesome
I am still laughing about the condoms, haha.
I guess I forgot to mention some t-shirts and tops on this list.
But I always tell myself: I have to do my laundry anyways after seven days the latest, so I usually pack for a one-week-trip.
(And of course I knew I’d buy a lot of new stuff anyway. That’s what I always do… Can’t help it
)
Probably the only garment I took home again was the fleece jacket! Everything else I left behind or lost it on the way…
Here are some tips
# Backpack rain cover
# Batteries
# Books
# Bottled water
# Camera, film and batteries – Spare flash cards or memory for digital
# Carbohydrate snacks
# Chewing gum or mints – Especially if you are flying chewing something will help your ears
# Combo or key locks
# Compass
# Cup
thanks
