Love conquers all, so the saying goes. Looking at the Instagram account of Korean couple Danbi Shin and Seok Li, you’d certainly believe it. She lives in New York, he’s in Seoul but the distance has inspired them to start something that currently puts the internet in awe. The two photograph the same scene in their respective cities and then put the picture together as a whole, thereby creating beautiful collages that really show that these two hearts are truly beating as one.

In just over 10 weeks the artist couple has accumulated more than 70.000 followers on their Instagram channel. The couple takes people along as they enjoy an ice-cream, stroll the city or take a selfie. Just normal, everyday scenes that are turned into something special, simply by putting two halves together as one. Not surprisingly the couple call this photo series Half & half.

We are finding this a pretty awesome way to keep your long-distance relationship fun and interesting. Definitely taking notes! To see where the journey is going for these two and their awesome project, follow them on Instagram, Facebook or their website.
