Almost everyone enjoys a few quiet days on the beach reading a good book and relaxing in the sun. However, sometimes you just need to let your hair down, drink, dance and party till your feet scream STOP. So here are five of our favorite places to forget your name and let your alter ego run wild!
1) Prague

As probably one of the only cities in the world boasting a Sex Toy …

This past weekend, we followed a friendly invitation by smart urban stage to discover the city of Cologne. Naturally we took them up on their kind offer to give us a ride in smart’s amazing new Electric Drive model. Better still, we were chauffeured by a super charming guide named Lia, a Cologne local and shopping pro who showed us where the best spots were.

Here are our recommendations for one …

Telling you how and where to find beer in Brussels is a bit like teaching my Grandma to suck eggs as Belgium is a county with no shortage of bars to sit and drink a good beer. But beer tastes better when drunk in style in a place filled with atmosphere & interesting people so here just are 5 of my favourite hang outs;

Traveling can broaden your mind. Actually, it almost definitely will. You will see and do things you’ve never seen or done before. And sometimes you will see and do things you never thought you will see or do. Here we go:
Our Top 10 weirdest stuff to do and see while traveling

It’s probably no surprise that my favorite bar in Warsaw is a smaller place owned by some of my friends. Miasto Gadajacych Głów, or City of Talking Heads, is a “Dada cafe” featuring low lighting, good music, cheap libations, interesting and ironic decor, and great people. The crowd here featured a lot of young Polish folks, with a light smattering of expats and the occasional tourists. Unlike some more well-known …

Dear Travelettes,
Ever so often I come across something on the internet that immediately sparks my desire to escape everyday life and travel far, far away. This morning, while I was having coffee and reading the online papers, the headline “Top 10 neighbourhood bars in Rio” caught my eye. Singapore has to be the smallest, but busiest and most bustling Asian country I’ve been to. It blows your mind how modern and Western it is despite the blindingly intense heat which makes half your body water sweat out in five minutes and the other half boil away in your blood.
It’s extreme cleanliness (chewing gum bans, limited smoking areas, cigarette butt fines, no eating or drinking on public transport) and …

Croatia often conjures images of beachside parties and holidays along the shore in Split or Dubrovnik. Zagreb, the capital city, isn’t always a tourist’s first destination. Last winter I worked at a hostel in Zagreb for a little under a month. Winter is definitely the slow season in Croatia and finding places to go out in my free time was not always easy. One place that never let me down …

Mojitos are good. And I already told you about my personal favourite Mojito bar in Barcelona. But: I recently came across a very cool tumblr blog which judges Mojitos all around that wonderful city. Mojitos en Barcelona contuinously adds more and more bars and their Mojitos, including a five star rating system, the price and address. Salut!

If you are not a mojito lover, but you like spanish fries, there is …

I arrived in Budapest for my semester abroad in the beginning of September. Unfortunately the glorious sunny days didn’t last for very long, and soon we found ourselves facing rain (and eventually snow) and looking for ways to do our socializing indoors.
Budapest has fantastic night life, but while a crazy night out dancing is great fun, it’s not the best way to really talk with and get to know new …
