Looking for a student job in travel? Here’s your chance!
Our friends at Contiki love working with cool, enthusiastic and travel-loving people and the time has come when like every year Contiki recruits bright, fun folks to join the European team and become a brand ambassador. This time around they asked us to tell our readers about this opportunity because rumor has it that our readers are exactly that – easygoing, smart travel enthusiasts (that also happen to be above average good-looking).
What a brand ambassador does
Contiki was originally founded by a guy from New Zealand and today it’s the world’s most successful company providing young group travel (ages 18 to 35) to 5 different continents. Its strong focus lies in providing participants with a unique and fun-filled experience they will never want to forget.
Your tasks will include planning, promoting and running a local event, developing and maintaining a database of student clubs and organisations on campus, carrying out market research and conducting customer surveys. You will need to be social media savvy (Facebook, anyone? Twitter? Instagram?) and able to promote any activity via social media.
The ideal candidate has an easy time talking to people, loves travel and knows how to motivate and encourage.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to join the fun loving, travel mad Contiki team, you can apply by emailing your CV and a recent photograph (funny ones are encouraged) to campus@contiki.com. Include a cover letter with any experience you may that you think is relevant.
Applications close Sunday 20 January. Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend interviews.
The Travelettes wish you the best of luck!
