On my recent trip I stumbled across something I had once read about on this same website. Kathrine had written a post about dining with the Hare Krishna, a religion that is friendly, but maybe sometimes hard to understand for outsiders when a group of them is wandering the streets in orange sheets, chanting the same two words for hours.
When staying in Madrid a couple of weeks ago, I realized …

Mojitos are good. And I already told you about my personal favourite Mojito bar in Barcelona. But: I recently came across a very cool tumblr blog which judges Mojitos all around that wonderful city. Mojitos en Barcelona contuinously adds more and more bars and their Mojitos, including a five star rating system, the price and address. Salut!

If you are not a mojito lover, but you like spanish fries, there is …

Dear Travelettes,

It feels weird being back in Barcelona after not beeing here for over 2 years. But once I had come to grips with how much I had missed this city, I also started realizing, once again, how travelling really is the best way to meet interesting people – and in Barcelona, that’s a given. At the hostel I stayed at, I shared a room with Viktoriya, 26 from Moscow, who …

Among travelers, Barcelona is one of Europe’s hot spots. As I spent 6 months living there, I can tell you the following: you will definetely have some nights you will never forget. To start off one of these infamous nights, put on your heels and take the Metro to the heart of Barcelonas beautiful district “Gracia”. After having had some delicious Tapas at Placa del Sol move up Torrent de …
